Position Summary

Store Operation and commercial activity as well management of MIS support.

Major Roles And Responsibilities (Job Details)

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts, and consumables.

Regularly conduct stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with ERP system records.

Implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and losses.

Receive incoming materials, ensuring proper documentation and verification of quantities and quality.

Conduct inspections to ensure that materials meet quality standards and specifications.

Report and document any discrepancies or damages to the HOD.

Ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage and deterioration.

Implement an organized layout within the store for easy accessibility and retrieval of items.

Monitor and control storage conditions such as temperature and humidity as needed.

Coordinate with various departments to fulfill material requisitions in a timely manner.

Maintain a system for issuing materials based on FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.

Implement procedures to prevent unauthorized access to the store.

Prepare regular reports on material transactions, stock status, and consumption patterns.

Maintain records of receipts, issuances, and returns for auditing purposes.

Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in BBS/Masters, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Proven 2 years’ experience as a Store Officer or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the steel industry.

Sound knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with MS package and ERP software for inventory management.

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
