We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Officer to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will provide support for various IT operations and assist in the implementation of new IT systems. • Respond to user requests and provide technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate problems as required.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop applications and peripherals.
• Assist in maintaining network infrastructure, including servers, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity or slow response times.
• Support the setup and maintenance of network user accounts and permissions.
• Aid in the implementation of IT projects under the guidance of senior IT staff.
• Assist in researching and evaluating new technologies and solutions.
• Participate in the testing and deployment of software and hardware upgrades.
